I’ve got another post in FanGraphs today on knuckleballs at Coors Field — you can check that out here if you’re curious. This started out as a sort of troll-y thought exercise but ultimately morphed into a deeper investigation into how much we really know about the movement of a knuckleball in game conditions. I learned that Hawk-Eye is not accurately measuring the spin of a knuckleball, for one, even though it may technically have the ability to do so. I had fun writing and reporting it and I hope you check it out.
